Real Native Roots: Untold Stories presents to you, Monique Castro a citizen of the Diné (Navajo)Nation and Xicana, born and raised on the ancestral homelands of the Tongva People (aka Los Angeles). Monique is a first-generation high school and college graduate raised by her grandparents, who leads by love, compassion, and generosity. Monique shares how her life experiences led her to create the Indigenous Circle of Wellness, a private group practice offering mental wellness services grounded in holistic healing through a culturally inclusive approach.
