Real Native Roots: Untold Stories presents Natalie Benally, a Diné woman cultivating her love for dance, story, and giving back to her community. Natalie shares where she gets her work ethic, continuing to heal, and trusting herself. Natalie is a dance artist, filmmaker, writer, actress, and community/language advocate from the Navajo Nation. She is the Co-Founder & Creative Director of Tse'Nato', a mixed-media storytelling company to amplify Indigenous voices and representation. She has directed and choreographed numerous theater productions. She has performed the lead role of Dory in the Navajo dubbed version of Disney/Pixar’s Finding Nemo. Natalie will also be appearing in a lead role in a new series on FOX in 2023 and executive producing her first full-length documentary.
Join us and hear her laugh's infectiousness, yet she shares her wisdom and commitment to making choices with intention.

A twin, falling in the middle somewhere with six other siblings, Ryan grew up in a household of women. Later Ryan finds himself enrolling into a production class for film and finds his love for filmmaking, writing, directing, and acting. Ryan's mission is to levitate for more Diné/Native American presence in film and television both in front of and behind the camera.
